BAKU — President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan extended heartfelt congratulations to To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on Vietnam’s Independence Day, reflecting on the strong bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijani-Vietnamese relations and reaffirmed Azerbaijan's commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors, including trade, economic, cultural, and educational fields. "I am confident that we will continue our joint efforts to further develop Azerbaijani-Vietnamese friendly relations," Aliyev wrote, also wishing the Vietnamese people peace and prosperity on their national holiday.
