Shusha: President Ilham Aliyev has highlighted Azerbaijan’s commitment to environmental sustainability, asserting that the country is ecologically friendly. Addressing the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, the President emphasized the nation’s dedication to the global climate agenda.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan does not use coal or fuel oil for electricity production. Instead, the country relies on hydropower, natural gas, and, more recently, solar energy. He further noted that Azerbaijan’s green agenda is ambitious, reflecting the nation’s efforts to contribute to a sustainable future.
