President Ilham Aliyev Addresses Unmotivated Attacks on Azerbaijanis in Russia

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has highlighted concerns over recent attacks on Azerbaijanis residing in Russia. During an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel, the President expressed his dismay over incidents where two individuals were reportedly killed and tortured. Official statements later indicated that the cause of death was attributed to heart attacks.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized that these attacks were unprecedented and unacceptable. He noted that among the victims were Azerbaijani citizens and Russian citizens of Azerbaijani descent. President Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan is not responsible for any deterioration in relations and that the nation only acts in a constructive and lawful manner. However, he made it clear that Azerbaijan would not tolerate any form of aggression or disrespect.
