President Ilham Aliyev Attends Launch of Meysari Grand Hotel and SPA Complex in Shamakhi

Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration of the Meysari Grand Hotel and SPA complex in Shamakhi, APA reports. The event marked a significant addition to the region's tourism infrastructure.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mehmet Bal§ik, Chief Executive Officer of Pasha Hospitality, provided details about the newly constructed complex. Located in the Meysari village of Shamakhi district, the complex is designed as a multifunctional tourism and recreation destination, situated at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea level. It includes a hotel, cottages, restaurants, a conference center, a spa and wellness center, and sports and recreation areas.

The complex offers 204 rooms, with 88 rooms in the main hotel building and 116 in the cottage section, along with three villas. The wellness center provides amenities for relaxation and well-being, complemented by three swimming pools, gym and pilates halls, a tennis court, a football pitch, a padel court, and a children's entertainment center.

A helipad is available for guests preferring air transport, while several restaurants are set to operate within the complex. The Nasimi Conference Center on-site is capable of hosting 420 guests for conferences, meetings, and other events. Smaller events can be accommodated in an additional hall.

Parking facilities, both indoor and outdoor, have been established, and the opening of the complex has created 320 new jobs. Shamakhi, known for its ancient history, rich cultural heritage, and beautiful landscape, is a favored tourism destination in Azerbaijan. The new hotel will enhance the district's tourism potential, offering a comfortable stay for both local and international guests and boosting the local economy.
