Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order recognizing the contributions of several employees of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, two employees were honored with the 3rd degree 'For Service to the Fatherland' Order. Additionally, two individuals received the 'Progress' medal, and six employees were awarded the medal 'For Distinction in the Civil Service' for their effective service in the customs authorities.

Under a separate presidential order, one employee of the State Customs Committee was awarded the higher special rank of 'Colonel General of Customs Service.' Furthermore, three employees were conferred the higher special ranks of 'Major General of Customs Service.'
