Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, extended his congratulations to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of Republic Day.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan. He highlighted Kazakhstan’s achievements in various fields, including economic development and international prestige, attributing these successes to the significant reforms implemented under President Tokayev’s leadership.
The letter from President Aliyev emphasized the shared historical and cultural roots between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, which play a crucial role in shaping bilateral cooperation. He noted the strategic nature of the relationship between the two countries, exemplified by the “Treaty on Strategic Partnership and Allied Relations,” which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.
