President Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Malaysia’s King on Independence Day

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has addressed a congratulatory letter to King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim on the occasion of Malaysia's national holiday, Independence Day: APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev expressed his pleasure in extending sincere congratulations to the King and the people of Malaysia. He emphasized the gratifying level of partnership between Azerbaijan and Malaysia, which is built on traditions of friendship and mutual respect.

President Aliyev conveyed his belief that the interstate relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Malaysia will continue to grow and expand both bilaterally and within international organizations. He also wished the King robust health, happiness, and success in his state activities, while hoping for lasting peace, welfare, and prosperity for the Malaysian people.
