Baku: President Ilham Aliyev announced significant advancements in Azerbaijan's energy cable projects during his address at the official opening of Baku Energy Week. He emphasized the country's collaborative efforts with international partners in this sector.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the nearing completion of the feasibility study for the Black Sea Energy Cable. This ambitious project is set to extend from Azerbaijan to Georgia and traverse beneath the Black Sea, reaching Romania, Hungary, and several other countries. Additionally, he mentioned the ongoing implementation of another key initiative: the onshore electric cable linking Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkiye, and Bulgaria.
