President Ilham Aliyev: Number of Restored Cities and Villages Has Already Reached 15

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev announced that the number of restored cities and villages in Azerbaijan has reached 15. He made this statement during a meeting with residents who have relocated to the village of Beylik in the Lachin district.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the rapid progress made in reconstruction efforts following the end of the 30-year Armenian occupation. He noted that the village of Beylik, once destroyed, has been transformed into a beautiful settlement. He emphasized the creation of essential infrastructure, including houses, roads, electricity, natural gas, water, and land plots, which provide residents with the opportunity to live and work comfortably on their own land.

He further stated that large-scale reconstruction work is taking place across all liberated territories, aiming to facilitate the return of citizens to their lands. The village of Baylik, along with the neighboring villages of Sus, Zabukh, and the city of Lachin, have been part of these restoration efforts. The president expressed confidence that living in such conditions is a source of happiness for the residents, underscoring the significance of rebuilding efforts in the region.
