Baku: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the strategic importance of the Zangezur Corridor in his address during the 13th Meeting of the CICA Think Tank Forum, themed 'Resonance of Development and Security: Regional Cooperation and Governance in the Institutional Transformation of CICA.' He highlighted Azerbaijan's position as a key transport and logistics hub within Eurasia, situated along the East-West and North-South corridors.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his confidence in the Zangezur Corridor's potential as a crucial transport link bridging continents. He noted that the corridor, as an extension of the Middle Corridor, is expected to enhance connectivity and cooperation among CICA member states, thereby contributing to regional development and security.
