Baku: On July 1, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Azerbaijan on a working visit. A guard of honor was organized at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, which was adorned with the flags of Azerbaijan and the European Union, to honor her arrival.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ursula von der Leyen was received by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, along with other officials. The visit underscores the ongoing relations and cooperation between the European Union and Azerbaijan.
