Baku: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan for an official visit. A report from APA highlights that the Iranian President’s arrival took place on April 28.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a guard of honor was arranged for President Pezeshkian at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The airport was adorned with the national flags of both Iran and Azerbaijan, signaling the significance of the visit.

President Pezeshkian was welcomed by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Yagub Eyyubov, alongside other officials, marking the beginning of the diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring nations.
