Baku: Santiago Pe±a, the President of the Republic of Paraguay, has extended his congratulations to Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in his letter, President Pe±a expressed his heartfelt congratulations on behalf of both the people and Government of Paraguay, as well as personally. He conveyed his wishes for peace, welfare, and prosperity to the Azerbaijani people, whom he referred to as "brotherly."

President Pe±a also highlighted his hopes for the strengthening of the friendship and cooperation between the two nations. He took the opportunity to express his high regard and deep respect for President Aliyev, reinforcing the diplomatic ties that bind Paraguay and Azerbaijan.
