Baku: In January-May this year, Azerbaijan exported products worth $6.671 billion to the countries of the European Union.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this represents a decrease of 14.9 percent, or $1.167 billion, compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported products worth $1.012 billion from EU countries, down 16.9 percent, or $205.6 million, year-on-year.

Exports to EU countries accounted for 47.75 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports, while imports from the bloc made up 14.85 percent of the country's total imports.
