Six-Party Format Offers New Opportunities for Regional Cooperation

Turkmenbashi:The six-party format of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan presents new opportunities for enhancing cooperation, peace, and stability, according to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. He made these remarks at the conclusion of the 8th Consultative Meeting held in Turkmenbashi.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the high level of mutual understanding and trust among the participating heads of state. He emphasized their collective commitment to development, progress, and prosperity, and their contributions towards strengthening peace, stability, and security both regionally and globally.

The President noted that preparatory discussions for the meeting led to agreements on several issues related to the advancement of cooperation. Furthermore, he announced that the 9th Consultative Meeting is scheduled to occur in Azerbaijan in 2027, extending congratulations to the President of Azerbaijan on this occasion.

Berdimuhamedov reiterated that Turkmenistan is fully supporting the preparation and execution of these meetings, focusing on enhancing peace, stability, and good-neighborly relations. He expressed gratitude to all participants for their constructive efforts.
