Baku: Babak Huseynov, Vice President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), recently met with Wang Wei, Deputy General Manager of China Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC), to discuss potential partnership opportunities between the two companies. The meeting highlighted the significance of expanding cooperation, particularly within the framework of the Absheron Full Field Development (FFD) project.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions included a comprehensive review of possible areas of collaboration. SOCAR provided detailed information on its strategic objectives and ongoing energy projects both onshore and offshore. The meeting also served as a platform for exchanging views on various issues of mutual interest, underscoring the commitment of both parties to enhancing their partnership.
