Special Representative: Signing of Sister-City Agreement Between Lachin and Bukhara Marks a Significant Milestone

Lachin: The signing of a sister-city agreement between Lachin and Bukhara was highlighted as a significant milestone during President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Uzbekistan. Masim Mammadov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district, shared these insights in an interview with AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Mammadov emphasized the importance of expanding interregional ties between the two cities. He noted that the exchange of experience, efficient use of existing opportunities, and expansion of economic cooperation are key areas of focus for this partnership.

Mammadov also remarked on the ongoing development plans in Lachin, which include the construction of new residential areas, the return of former internally displaced persons, job creation, and the development of a modern urban environment.
