BAKU: The Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, known as Azercosmos, has entered into a cooperation agreement with Tajikistan’s ZET Mobile. This agreement aims to enhance communication services in the remote regions of Tajikistan utilizing the Azerspace-2 satellite.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, ZET Mobile will use the Azerspace-2 satellite to provide high-quality communication services in areas of Tajikistan that are often underserved. The collaboration is expected to bolster Tajikistan’s digital infrastructure, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of its remote areas.

The partnership will enable ZET Mobile’s customers to access communication and internet services in various settings, including vehicles, government offices, private institutions, and remote regions. The initiative aims to bridge the communication gap that currently exists outside major urban centers in Tajikistan.
