BAKU: A transportation management monitoring exercise was conducted at Baku Stadium as part of ongoing preparations for the COP29 conference. The drill evaluated the efficiency of shuttle flows, security, and accreditation procedures within the designated zones of the stadium, utilizing the conference’s planned layout and routes. Over 600 volunteers participated in the exercise.

According to Trend News Agency, the monitoring event was successfully completed, encompassing both day and night operations across central streets and avenues of Baku. The COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company collaborated with the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Emergency Situations, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, and the Republican Centre for Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid, which operates under the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB). The exercise involved COP29 shuttles as well as emergency vehicles, including ambulances and fire engines.

The purpose of these drills is to thoroughly test the transpor
tation plan for the conference and ensure that all transport operations are fully prepared ahead of the event.
