Baku: The next meeting of the Central Banks Council of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is set to be held in Trkiye, as reported by APA-Economics. The conclusion of the recent second meeting in Baku has paved the way for this decision.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event was hosted by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and saw participation from the heads of central banks belonging to Azerbaijan, Trkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Additionally, representatives from Hungary and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus attended as observers. The meeting centered around discussions on monetary policy measures addressing global and regional risks, ensuring financial stability, and developing digital financial ecosystems.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Communiqu© was signed, reflecting the agreements reached among the participating parties. It was announced that the third meeting of the Council would take place in Trkiye in 2027.
