Turkic-Speaking Countries Initiate Creation of Unified Maps

Baku: Turkic-speaking countries have embarked on a collaborative effort to create unified maps, as stated by Merey Mukazhan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States. During the 2nd Meeting of the Heads of Mapping Agencies of the Organization of Turkic States, Mukazhan revealed that the countries are taking significant steps in this direction, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mukazhan emphasized that discussions surrounding the preparation of military maps are expected to intensify in the future. He highlighted that representatives from the Cartography Institute have recently convened multiple times, focusing on the development of a comprehensive map of the Turkic-speaking countries. These discussions are deemed crucial for advancing their mapping initiatives.
