A delegation from T¼rkiye, including representatives from Turkish higher educational institutions, visited the Sumgayit Industrial Park, which operates under the auspices of the Economic Zones Development Agency (IZIA) affiliated with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Seymur Adigozalov, Chairman of the Board of IZIA, provided the Turkish delegation with insights into the agency's activities, highlighting Azerbaijan's initiatives aimed at the development of industrial zones. Emphasis was placed on the favorable business and investment conditions extended to both local and international investors.

Discussions during the meeting also revolved around the potential for cooperation between higher educational institutions and industrial enterprises. The talks included prospects for joint research and innovation projects, as well as initiatives for personnel training and knowledge exchange.

<P >The Turkish delegation took the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the operations of various park residents, such as 'Kartas Kimya' LLC and 'Azerfloat' CJSC. They expressed appreciation for the infrastructure and conditions established at the park, acknowledging that such industrial zones are instrumental in bolstering regional economic collaboration.
