Turkish Medical Firm INVAMED Reports Successful Rare Aortic Aneurysm Surgery in Ankara

ANKARA, TRKIYE - INVAMED, a Turkish medical firm, has announced the successful recovery of a 78-year-old patient with a rare aortic aneurysm after undergoing surgery at Ankara Baskent University Hospital.

According to a new release by Azerbaijan State News Agency, the surgery was conducted by Dr. Fatih Boyvat and Professor Dr. Hakki Tankut Akay and was previously considered nearly impossible at other medical centers. The patient initially sought treatment for severe abdominal pain and was subsequently diagnosed with a thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm. The operation's success was attributed to the expertise of the doctors and the utilization of local technology. The firm's statement also outlined the use of the Stena Multi-Layer Flow Modulator, developed in INVAMED's R&D labs, designed to stabilize the aortic wall, halt aneurysm growth, and ensure smooth blood transport.
