UK Seeks to Enhance AI Collaboration with Azerbaijan

Baku:The United Kingdom is exploring opportunities to expand its collaboration with Azerbaijan in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence, and data infrastructure. This was emphasized by UK Minister of State for Trade Lord Anas Sarwar, who spoke at the 8th meeting of the Azerbaijan-UK Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Lord Sarwar highlighted the UK's status as a global leader in research and innovation. He noted that Azerbaijan has ambitious plans in digitalization and artificial intelligence, suggesting that these could align with British expertise to foster cooperation.

Lord Sarwar further indicated that the potential collaboration could extend beyond businesses to include educational institutions. He pointed to the University of Warwick as a possible contributor to enhancing research capabilities and developing human resources in Azerbaijan.
