US Updates Forecast for Azerbaijan’s Liquid Hydrocarbons Production

Baku: The Energy Information Administration (EIA), a branch of the US Department of Energy, has released its updated forecast for Azerbaijan's average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons for the years 2026 and 2027.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the monthly report from the EIA, Azerbaijan's production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons is projected to stabilize at 520 thousand barrels per day in 2027, with no change from previous forecasts. The forecast for 2026 also remains unchanged, with an expected daily production of 550 thousand barrels.

The report highlights that Azerbaijan's production was recorded at 570 thousand barrels per day in 2025, and 600 thousand barrels per day in 2024. These figures reflect a gradual decline in daily production levels over the years.
