Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power has paid a visit to Azerbaijan, official website of USAID stated, APA reports.
“Administrator Samantha Power arrived today in Baku, Azerbaijan. She will meet with President Ilham Aliyev to discuss the humanitarian situation in Garabagh and the commitments made by Azerbaijan in this regard. Administrator Power is joined by U.S. Department of State Acting Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs Yuri Kim.
During her visit, the Administrator will also address the prospects for a durable and dignified peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, based on mutual respect for each others’ territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the statement reads.
Note that before this, Samantha Power and Yuri Kim had visited Armenia.
