Awaza:Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has proposed the organization of a 'Central Asia-Azerbaijan' business forum to be held in 2027. This proposal was made during his speech at the opening of the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Mirziyoyev emphasized the necessity of elevating economic cooperation between Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. He suggested that the collaboration should extend beyond mutual trade to include the creation of joint industrial and technological chains and the production of common products.
President Mirziyoyev introduced the concept of '6 economies - 1 product,' highlighting that the involvement of multiple countries in a single production chain would forge stronger economic ties than traditional commodity exchanges. Additionally, he advocated for ongoing efforts to enhance the regulatory and legal framework governing the activities of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
