Baku: Uzbekistan has called for the formation of an Industrial Alliance of Turkic States as part of a broader strategy to boost economic ties among member nations. "We believe it is necessary to establish the Permanent Council on Economic Partnership of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), chaired by deputy prime ministers, aiming to enhance economic integration," stated Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, during a meeting of the Heads of Government and Vice Presidents of the OTS member states in Baku.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Prime Minister Aripov emphasized the importance of not only creating the Industrial Alliance but also adopting a cooperation program focused on strategic minerals.
