Volume of Money Transfers Entering Azerbaijan This Year Reached $534 Million

Baku: In the first half of this year, the volume of funds received in Azerbaijan in the form of money transfers amounted to USD 533.9 million, as stated by Samir Nasirov, Director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), during a press conference at the CBA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Samir Nasirov detailed the origins of these funds, noting that USD 214 million was received from Russia, USD 87.8 million from Trkiye, USD 52.1 million from the USA, USD 18.8 million from the United Kingdom, and USD 18.6 million from the UAE.

Furthermore, the largest amounts of money transfers sent from Azerbaijan were directed to Trkiye with USD 68 million, followed by the USA with USD 40 million, Russia with USD 22.1 million, Georgia with USD 13.9 million, and the United Kingdom with USD 12.3 million.
