Baku: "I have come here today to further deepen the European Union-Azerbaijan partnership," President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated during a press briefing with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, von der Leyen expressed her pleasure at returning to Baku, highlighting the city's blend of ancient heritage and modern architecture as a symbol of Azerbaijan's future ambitions. She emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership, which she noted has gained significant momentum and holds great importance for the European Union.
