Baku: Wildfires have broken out in open areas near the villages of Marzili in the Aghdam district, Gazakhlar in the Fuzuli district, and Chakhirli and Mehdili in the Jabrayil district, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported. The incidents were communicated through the Ministry's "112" hotline.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, units of the State Fire Protection Service were promptly dispatched to the affected areas in response to the emergency calls. The Ministry highlighted that the firefighting operations are facing significant challenges due to the presence of landmines in the region and the prevailing windy weather conditions. Firefighting efforts are currently underway as authorities strive to bring the situation under control.
