Baku: The ceremony of handing over the chairmanship of the World Urban Forum (WUF) from Azerbaijan to Mexico was held, APA reports. Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Anacl¡udia Rossbach and WUF13 National Coordinator, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev handed over the symbol of the Forum to the Mexican side.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the next session of the World Urban Forum (WUF14) will be held in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. The transition marks a new chapter in the WUF, as Mexico assumes leadership and prepares to host the upcoming event, continuing the work on urban planning and sustainable development.
