BAKU—Azerbaijani oil prices have seen a marginal decline, with Azeri Light crude oil dipping by $3.33 to settle at $79.58 per barrel CIF at the Italian port of Augusta as of October 8.
According to Trend News Agency, referring to a source from the country's oil and gas market, the Azeri LT FOB Ceyhan price also saw a decrease of $3.34, bringing it to $78.2 per barrel. In addition, the price of URALS crude dropped by $3.29 to $64.95 per barrel. This trend is part of a broader decrease in oil prices globally, with the price of Dated Brent, a North Sea benchmark, falling by $3.35 to $77.85 on the same date.
These price movements reflect ongoing adjustments in the global oil market, which continue to influence export-dependent economies like Azerbaijan. The official exchange rate remained stable at 1.7 Azerbaijani Manat to the U.S. Dollar as of October 9.
