Baku: The Baku Initiative Group continues its activities not only at the UN, but also on other platforms, Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, told journalists, APA reports. According to him, the virtual museum dedicated to colonialism will serve as a digital database for scholars, UN experts, and interested parties involved in the decolonization process, and in turn will contribute to the process from a scientific perspective.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Abbas Abbasov also spoke about the pressure exerted on the Baku Initiative Group: 'Pressure continues not only against our organization, but also against national and independent movements. Despite this, we continue our multifaceted activities - not only on the political level, but also on the scientific level. As you can see, we are now carrying out this work not only by publishing reports and books, but also by transitioning to the digital sphere. As you are aware, we initiated our activities nearly three years ago. From the very first months of our work, such pressure has come from France, Belgium, and other countries. Nevertheless, we will continue our activities not only in the political arena, not only at the UN, but also on various other platforms.'
