'To date, 480 local observers have been registered by Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC) to monitor the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1, 2024,' CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov said at a meeting held on Monday. '344 of the local observers were registered on their own initiative, while 10 of them represent non-governmental organizations, and 126 obtained special permission,' the CEC chief added.
