Deputy PM: Our Priority is Clear: Secure, Affordable and Sustainable Energy

Paris: Within the framework of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Ministerial Meeting held in Paris, the Netherlands' Deputy Prime Minister Sophie Hermans announced the key priorities of the Agency's member countries, APA-Economics reports, citing the Agency.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Sophie Hermans emphasized the significance of energy in daily life, describing it as the invisible driving force behind all activities. She highlighted the importance of international cooperation under the umbrella of knowledge provided by the International Energy Agency. Hermans, who chaired the meeting, reiterated that the primary focus is on achieving secure, affordable, and sustainable energy, alongside building resilient systems capable of enduring uncertainties.

It should be noted that a record number of high-ranking government officials from 54 countries participated in the two-day event held in Paris, with around 40 attendees at the ministerial level. Additionally, the event attracted heads of 55 companies, collectively holding a market capitalization of $14 trillion, as well as leaders from several international organizations.
