Brussels – The European Union, represented by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has called for a resumption of talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This appeal was made after a meeting of the Council of EU Foreign Affairs Ministers.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Borrell emphasized the need for a peace agreement and expressed the EU’s intention to continue its role in mediating the negotiations, building on the efforts initiated by the President of the Council of the European Union.
