EuroVillage 2025 Opens in Baku With European Union Showcase


Baku: The EuroVillage 2025 event is set to open its doors at Baku Boulevard at 13:00 on Sunday, June 22, 2025, providing a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the European Union’s values, policies, and longstanding cooperation with Azerbaijan. Attendees will also have the chance to explore the history, culture, traditions, and contemporary life of the EU Member States. The event’s official opening will occur at 14:00, featuring the participation of the Ambassadors of the European Union and EU Member States, alongside Zarifa Zulfugarova, Head of the International Relations department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.



According to European Union, EuroVillage 2025 is being organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan in collaboration with the Embassies of the EU Member States and with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event, themed “European Union in Baku,” will also emphasize EU projects and EU Delegation activities in Azerbaijan.



Ambassador of the EU to Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Peter Michalko, expressed that EuroVillage serves as a gateway to Europe, offering visitors a chance to learn about and experience the cultural richness and diversity that define the European Union. He conveyed delight in sharing this celebration with Azerbaijani attendees.



The event will conclude with an evening concert from 19:00 to 20:00, featuring performances by renowned singers Samira Efendi and Aydan Hasanova, accompanied by the Miles Band.
