BAKU, AZERBAIJAN - Kamran Jalili, head of the General Cargo Terminal at Baku International Trade Port, spoke to journalists about the construction of a new fertilizer terminal and future expansion plans for the port.

According to a new release by Azerbaijan State News Agency, the first phase of the port has an annual freight throughput capacity of 15 million tons. Jalili added that automation within the port would speed up the transfer of transit freight.
