Baku – President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid of Iraq has commenced an official visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Trend News Agency, upon his arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, he was greeted with a guard of honor, and the national flags of both Iraq and Azerbaijan were prominently displayed. President Rashid was welcomed by notable Azerbaijani officials, including First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Samir Sharifov, among others. This visit signifies the continuing diplomatic relations and cooperation between Iraq and Azerbaijan.
