MAMA ‘Mother Nature’ Art Exhibition Debuts at Albanian Prime Minister’s Residence

Tirana: The MAMA 'Mother Nature' international art exhibition has opened at the residence of the Prime Minister of Albania in Tirana, APA reports. Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended the event. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Leyla Aliyeva addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the paintings, sculptures, and installations on display reflect the power, beauty, and fragility of nature. She described the exhibition as a compelling example of how art can transcend borders while contributing to environmental protection. Aliyeva expressed her pleasure at being in a country known for its spiritual richness and sincerity. She highlighted the strong friendship and deep relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, emphasizing shared values such as humanism, kindness, dignity, and mutual respect. Leyla Aliyeva also highlighted the honor of seeing works by Prime Minister Edi Rama and renowned Albanian artist Arben Golemi at the exhibition. She noted with satisfaction that four artists from Baku were participa ting, sharing their experiences and personally introducing their works. Addressing global environmental challenges, Aliyeva pointed out alarming statistics regarding deforestation, wildlife extinction, and ocean degradation, mentioning the impact on Azerbaijan's ecosystem, including the decline of the Caspian Sea and threats to species like the Caspian seal, salmon, and sturgeon. Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed his honor in viewing the exhibition, appreciating the works by Aliyeva that demonstrate the unity between art and environmental protection. He described the exhibition as a new chapter in the friendship between Albania and Azerbaijan, bringing culture and creativity to the residence. Rama conveyed confidence that the month-long exhibition would leave a lasting impression on every visitor. Following the official remarks, guests toured the exhibition. In an interview with AZERTAC, People's Artist Elena Hagverdiyeva shared that Tirana left a beautiful and unforgettable impression on her. Artist Nargiz Guliyeva expressed her deep honor in participating in the exhibition, while artist Elnara Nasirli shared that her works are dedicated to the mysterious world of microorganisms. Jeyhun Abdullayev described his participation in the project as a source of pride.
