Baku: On Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Day, commemorating the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, servicemen participated in marches accompanied by military orchestras. These events took place along designated routes on various streets and avenues in Baku, as well as in the cities of Nakhchivan, Sumgayit, Ganja, Barda, Khankendi, Lachin, and Shusha.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, prior to the commencement of the marches, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was honored with a minute of silence. Following this tribute, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

The patriotic songs performed by the military orchestras, along with the marches accompanied by military music, garnered strong interest and applause from the onlookers who gathered to witness the event.
