Members of the organized crime group of Kamchybek Asanbek (Kamchi Kolbaev) were detained for extortion of $2,500. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

It is noted that two men, in collusion with members of the criminal group of the crime boss, who are in prison, extorted $2,500 from a resident of Tokmak by threats of physical violence.

They were detained while receiving 210,000 soms and placed in a pretrial detention center.

Investigative and operational activities are underway to identify other persons involved in extortion.
