One person died and three were injured in a shooting that took place in Queens, New York City, on Saturday morning, the local police confirmed, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The suspect opened fire in Cypress Hills at around 11:10 am ET. The victim, an 87-year-old man, was shot in the back on Jamaica Avenue near 108th Street and later died at Jamaica Hospital. A 44-year-old man, who was reportedly shot near 126th Street, remains in critical condition.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) said the motive of the suspect remains unknown as he seems to have shot at people randomly.
