Baku – President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan has sent a heartfelt letter of condolences to the family and relatives of Aman Tuleyev, the former governor of Russia’s Kemerovo region, following his passing.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, APA reports that in the letter, President Aliyev expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Aman Tuleyev. He acknowledged Tuleyev as a prominent Russian statesman and politician, noting his significant contributions to strengthening the friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Russia. Tuleyev was recognized for fostering an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of the two nations.
For his efforts, he was awarded the ‘Dostlug’ state order by the Republic of Azerbaijan. President Aliyev also highlighted Tuleyev’s respect for the memory of Azerbaijan’s National Leader Heydar Aliyev and stated that Tuleyev’s memory would forever be cherished in Azerbaijan. The President extended his deepest sympathies to Tuleyev’s family, sharing in their grief.
