Baku: 'The UN system comprises multiple agencies, programs, specialized organizations, and the Secretariat, each operating with its own management, budget, and operational norms. This diversity should be regarded as a strength rather than a weakness. But without good coordination, duplication, inefficiency, and scattered impact can occur,' said Srgjan Kerim, President of the United Nations General Assembly's 62nd session and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, during his remarks at the 13th Baku Global Forum.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Srgjan Kerim emphasized that UN system alignment is key to reform, requiring management and cultural changes, with agencies acting as parts of a shared multilateral effort.
