MOSCOW—Turkmenistan is set to increase its energy supply volumes across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and beyond, according to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The announcement came during his address at the CIS Heads of State Council meeting on October 8.

The Turkmen leader highlighted significant infrastructure projects aimed at supporting this expansion, such as the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) power line, and a new railway line in Afghanistan. Berdimuhamedov invited CIS countries to participate in these projects, citing them as a pathway to strategic prospects and a way to utilize collective resources and potential effectively.
