"Official Yerevan considers the mutual recognition of Armenia and Azerbaijan's territorial integrity as a priority," Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint press conference with his Canadian counterpart Melanie Joly, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
Ararat Mirzoyan stressed that Yerevan is ready to continue the negotiations for the peace treaty. He noted that in this context, along with recognizing the territorial integrity, works must be done in the direction of delimitation and demarcation of borders of the two countries based on the latest maps of the Headquarters of USSR.
"We are also interested in sovereignty, jurisdiction and the opening of the regional communications based on the principle of equality and reciprocity of the parties," Mirzoyan added.
