Azerbaijan exported 28,1 bln. cubic meters of natural gas in January-July this year, the Ministry of Energy told APA.

Of this 7.5 bln cubic meters of gas were produced from the "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" oil and gas field block (ACG), 15.4 bln cubic meters from the "Shahdeniz" gas-condensate field, 0.1 bln cubic meters from "Absheron", and 5.1 bln cubic meters by SOCAR.

Gas production saw an increase of 3.3%, that is, 0.9 bln cubic meters compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

During the reporting period, gas sales abroad amounted to 13.8 bln cubic meters, which is 7% more compared to the corresponding period of last year.
