Azerbaijan and Great Britain have approved exchanging knowledge in the field of possible mixing hydrogen with natural gas (with various mixing options) in gas transmission, APA-Economics reports citing the Protocol of the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

According to the document, parties also agreed on the matter of exchanging knowledge on the transportation of hydrogen through existing gas pipelines.

Note that, the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was held in Baku on December 7.
